about

i wanted to take stock of where i have arrived at as an artist and decided to compile a collection of pieces which i thought showed my progress.

these tracks may show early experimentation with a particular idea or form or may be an early or more developed example of thematic concerns in my work.

this covers the years 2012 - 2015 and part two will cover 2016 until lockdown when i think my work began to consolidate as self consciously artistic.

the cover is an image of a shop i used to pass most days when i was at university in cambridge, i thought it was a fitting starting point.

all money raised from this and the second volume will go to rape crisis scotland who have suffered a sustained and vicious attack from reactionaries.
