about

this track was inspired by a piece in the Times on the use of DNA to identify victims of the massacre in Srebrenica.

It contains three layers of samples:

1. a Dutch soldier who watched the massacre and could do nothing.

2. Ratko Mladic giving his defence in the Hague

3. Carl Sandberg reading 'Grass.'

There is also a loop made from a choir singing at a Tenth Anniversary Memorial.
