about

this track was originally part of the packaging for a release on herhalen and was available only with the physical copies.

tom weir was a hill walker, television presenter and writer who's television show 'weir's way' introduced a generation to the scottish landscape and scottish culture.

in his book 'tom weir's scotland' he discusses visiting the auld wife's lifts (a possible pre-christian worship site in baldernock parish) and not seeing the carved faces on the rock.

this was mastered from the only available copy which was an mp3 so the quality is a little off.
