about

this album was inspired by reading richard bradley's 'the prehistory of britain and ireland' and is based upon the world map of hecataeus of miletus where europe, north africa and asia where in a circular lands encircled by the river oceanus and only the dead saw what lay beyond it's limits.

sections as follows:

1. mare nostrum
2. through the straights of gibraltar
3. we saw oceanus for the first time
4. the land of the dead
5. a history of britain and ireland in twelve parts
