about

this album is inspired by recent events in egypt, particularly the use of the present situation to loot antiquities.

the same pattern of events where observed in iraq after the fall of saddam hussein.

the first track refers to a guardian statue placed in the tomb of ramses 1 and the second to the director general of excavations and antiquities for the egyptian government (who first sought to halt the illegal trade in antiquities and preserve relics of ancient egyptian culture for egypt. his work resulted in the founding of the egyptian museum in cairo in 1902.
