about

this is the first of (hopefully) a series of albums discussing how civilians experienced the total warfare of world war two

it uses the popular song 'a nightingale sang in berkley square' as the basis for two drone pieces interspersed with a field recording

headphones recommended.

------

But we fight for life,
we fight, they say, for breath,

or what good are your scribblings?
this – we take them with us

beyond death
