about

this album came about after finding a case full of music and recorders belonging to my partner's grand father. he was a keen fiddler and had decided to teach himself to play the recorder.

the second track takes it's title from the entomology of 'recorder' (latin 'recordārī,' via the middle-french 'recorder' meaning to remember or play music and the derivative 'recordeur' meaning he who remembers, who plays music.)
