about

this will hopefully be my final word on the recent controversy regarding feminism and the critique of language.

i have other things to do, i have been dragged into something i did not want to be part of and this is my final word on it.

this is not about the direct threat of language but the slow destruction it puts in place: the destruction of the individual's sense of their own worth as well as the worth of their own body and the slow destruction of empathy in the person using language.

language can set us free but it can also kill us - slowly destroying our sense of self and our ability to empathise with others and when there is no empathy left we become monsters.
