about

given the recent issues over britain in europe and even the continued existence of britain as an entity i find identities i have held all my life pass from me and there's nothing i can do.

this piece concerns these feelings of loosing that which ties me to place: my identities as a european and as a british person

if i forget thee, o jerusalem, let my right hand forget her cunning.

if i do not remember thee, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; if I prefer not jerusalem above my chief joy.
