about

this album was originally released in may 2012 and the second half of the album was at a much lower volume than the first.

this remastered edition goes someway towards resolving these issues and is released in this anniversary autumn.

the original notes to the album are here reproduced:

this album came about as part of a call to produce music for the 2012 jack the ripper conference.

i re-imagined the ripper legend through the women who died and the society that created their poverty and homelessness and addictions.

these problems are still with us and women still die because we, as a society, do not care enough.

-with thanks to robert anderson of the ripper wiki for inspiration and encouragement.
